Vampire Weekend & Jake Gyllenhaal

Jake Gyllenhaal was a recent guest on KCRW’s Guest DJ Project so I knew he was a big music lover but I still was surprised (and tickled) to see him appear in the latest Vampire Weekend video (as a drunk tennis player, no less!)

VW’s “Contra” has been on repeat in my car CD player and I finally came to the conclusion recently that I like the new CD more than their debut – which is saying a lot. This track, “Giving Up the Gun,” is definitely one of the standouts. Check out the video above and Jake’s Guest DJ set HERE.
