Not only is Anthony Valadez a skilled DJ and musician/producer, he is also a fantastic photographer. He is always documenting his exploits – including his many residencies around LA — and he posted this video about this weekend’s Chinatown Summer Nights, presented by KCRW.

Chinatown Summer Nights is my favorite party to DJ in LA. No long lines to get in, no guest list, no dress code. Just locals and out of towners all coming in and having a fun.

Every time I look out I just see smiles and arms fist pumping and I have this giant fear of us overloading the power and the sound going out!

I am so honored to have been a part of this community party and grateful to everyone who made it happen, particularly George, Shan, and our friends in the Chinatown Business Improvement District.
