Soul singer Aloe Blacc broke through to a big new audience – especially overseas — with his 2010 release “Good Things” on the fantastic LA label Stones Throw. “I Need a Dollar” and his cover of Velvet Underground’s “Femme Fatale” were clear favorites early on, but now he’s made a video for another standout track “ Green Lights”.

Aloe has a U.S. tour planned for Fall, including at the El Rey on October 22. Revisit his excellent Morning Becomes Eclectic performance here.
