I love the concept behind this video, and the song is pretty good too!
In fact, their new album might be their best work yet and is getting lots of love here at the station. The San Franciscoband, led by Andy Cabic, seem to have embraced pop a bit more on this album, moving beyond the folkier sound they were known for. He says he crafted it to be the perfect soundtrack for an afternoon stroll, inspired by the city he calls home.
“The Errant Charm” is Vetiver’s fifth full length release and comes out on Tuesday, June 14 on Sub Pop. You can stream it in its entirety as part of KCRW’s Album Preview series here.
