Upcoming Live Performances on MORNING BECOMES ECLECTIC with host JASON BENTLEY

Tuesday, October 29, Austin-based band White Denim delivers an incredible rock experience at every live show and we’re thrilled to welcome them back to KCRW studios for a performance on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Wednesday, October 30, KCRW DJ’s have been championing the soulful mix from Melbourne’s Hiatus Kiayote for some time and we look forward to hearing songs from their new album when they make their U.S. radio debut on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Monday, November 4, Argentine transplant Diego Garcia grew up stateside with a heavy dose of Latin music at home. He’s released a captivating recording recalling romantic ballads of the 70’s with a twist, as they are sung in English. We’ll hear it live on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Wednesday, November 6, Electro pop queen Glasser shares songs from her much anticipated sophomore release on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Friday, November 8,Blitzen Trapper’s music is rooted in country and folk music, they always take it to exciting and unexpected places. Hear them live on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Monday, November 11,Of Montreal have been making music for 17 years and released one of their best albums so far earlier this year. The Athens-based band has always been hard to pin down, so each new album is always a welcome surprise. They return to Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Thursday, November 14, Experimental guitarist Anna Calvi has been a KCRW favorite since her debut in 2011 and her new sophomore album has been at the top of our charts. We’ll welcome her back to Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Friday, November 15, Legendary guitarist for The Smiths, Johnny Marr recently performed several classics plus some of his new songs in the intimate setting of Apogee Studio. We’ll broadcast highlights from the evening on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.
