The Seshen: Flames & Figures

I remember getting a taste of The Seshen years ago.  There was something familiar yet challenging in their sound. Oblivion was the cut that had this lazy vocal swag but confidently driven by synths and claps. I wanted more.

Lead vocalist Lalin St. Juste and crew had a distinct hit. Many moons later we had connected over a meal and I got to know the band and their hunger for creating good music was evident.  They seemed like cool kids who all shared a passion for making good music.

Its nice to see their growth with their latest album,  Flames and Figures.  Distant Heart is proof that this SF band maintains that magic that was found on their earlier releases but they've clearly developed the tools and skills to grow together and create some of the most interesting sounds coming out today!
