Coachella crusher Sudan Archives ftw. The LA-based future-soul maven’s anthemic “Selfish Soul” gets a deep electro makeover from ODESZA, and immediately races to number one on the KCRW Top 30. Sudan’s Stones Throw labelmates (and fellow Angelenos) Pearl & The Oysters have dropped their hotly anticipated album Coast 2 Coast in full, and with that comes their triumphant return to the top ten. Jungle, DRAMA, and YACHT keep moving up.
New and notable: Daft Punk have prepared a tenth anniversary edition of Random Access Memories, which will feature 35 minutes of previously unreleased music.
