Left-field Belgian-Japanese dance duo Aili have been on a steady climb all year. And with every passing week, more and more KCRW DJs jump on board with the playfully nonchalant charms of their debut LP Nandakke? — making it this week’s number one in a landslide.

New and notable: LA dream pop project Cigarettes After Sex come in simmering on the strength of lead single, “Tejano Blue,” ahead of their new LP X’s. London producer Vegyn has us flipping for the laid back beats we’ve heard so far from his upcoming record The Road To Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions (due via his own PLZ Make It Ruins label in April). And Philly power pop group Sheer Mag are kicking out the jams throughout their freshly released album Playing Favorites, so we’re responding with major airplay.
