2023 is officially on. Album announcements (not to mention surprise drops) are coming left and right, and it’s really starting to show in our Top 30 Chart. Lil Yachty’s psych-drenched Let’s Start Here appeared almost out of nowhere at the end of January, but it made an immediate splash around these parts. Forthcoming releases from Yves Tumor, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and Y La Bamba are similarly braced for impact.

In the meantime, Glaswegian experimental hip-hop trio Young Fathers have finally assumed the number one position following the release of their latest Heavy Heavy. After weeks of watching them hover ever nearer to the top, we love to see it.

We also love to see our Top 30 Spotify playlist take its new sonic shape each week. Follow for endless fun.
