Never underestimate the power of a new Little Dragon single to dominate KCRW’s Top 30 Chart. “Gold” has swagger to spare, and an easy sultriness to place it among LD’s all time best. But our favorite funky Swedes aren’t the only ones pulling double digits this week — UK firecrackers Jungle are ready to smooth out all your rough edges with their latest “Dominoes,” and Arlo Parks is ready to break your heart wide open with her just-released sophomore album My Soft Machine.

New and notable: Braxe + Falcon have given Phoenix’s “Winter Solstice” a very summer playlist-friendly makeover; British indie pop trio Girl Ray go disco; and — just in the nick of time, it’s the Spoon-ful of sugar you’ve been craving.
