It’s no surprise, then, that the tenth anniversary edition, released Friday, has KCRW DJs spinning their early twenty-teens feels. You’ve heard a healthy mix of the album’s classic tracks and the recently unearthed bonus cuts all over our airwaves recently, and it’s a trend we’re not expecting to slow any time soon.
New and notable: Obongjayar returns with the ultra-crisp new cut “Just Cool,” his first since dropping his widely embraced 2022 debut album Some Nights I Dream Of Doors; English R&B maven Jorja Smith’s “Little Things” is ready for the floor; and Parisian club king Adam BFD lets loose on his first single for his own recently launched imprint, Studio Goncourt.
