"Deviant pop" heads, this is your moment. Our pals in Automatic jump four spots up to secure top placement for "Is It Now?," the title track from their forthcoming full-length. Melbourne's Cut Copy trails just behind with their new single, "When This Is Over." And they've enlisted an Australian children's choir for assistance on this one, heightening the emotional impact by a factor of a thousand. Wet Leg's latest "Davina McCall," named for the host of British Big Brother, is here at no. 3. It reaches us just ahead of their sophomore LP Moisturizer (due July 11 via Domino). Nation of Language essentially followed in Automatic's footsteps... only in reverse. Our beloved Brooklyn post-punks came in at no. 1 last week with "I'm Not Ready for the Change," which now rests comfortably at no. 4. Capping off the top 5 is Scottish producer Barry Can't Swim with his majestic new single "All My Friends." 

New and Notable:

The soundtrack to newly minted summer blockbuster F1 debuts at no. 12. Just behind that juggernaut is the (officially) mind blowing 3-disc dance-psych compilation Mr. Norris Changes Brains. Its auspicious placement comes on the heels of Richard Norris' KCRW Guest mix. Plus, two weeks after our world premiere of San Diego dream pop band Moondaddy's "Bystander," it hits no. 30 on the chart.
