Naming themselves Psyché, after both the ancient Greek for ‘soul’ or ‘mind’ and their love for psychedelic funk, this extraordinary Neopolitan band serves up a burner of a debut single. “Cumbia Mahàre” is an instrumental romp that dives deep into their Mediterranean roots and beyond.
