Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots is The Flaming Lips’ masterpiece recording, and you’ll be able to hear it in its entirety when the band comes to play the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles in August. Released in 2002, a massive 20th anniversary deluxe edition of the album is forthcoming, featuring over 100 tracks, B-sides, and demos, plus a very special version of “In The Morning of the Magicians,” recorded live on KCRW from our 2002 MBE session, which you can listen to in its entirety here.
