Tom's guest today is Linda Yudin, director of Viver Brasil. The folkloric dance and music group celebrates Afro-Brazilian culture in music and dance, featuring ritual capoeira dancing, as well as Bahian afox- and other regional styles. The Afro-Brazilian group is comprised of both Brazilian performers as well as local youth, often from hardscrabble inner city neighborhoods, offering them a way of transforming their lives through art.
