When Josh is away, Ken goes right for the in-depth impeachment conversation. It was either that or a 30-minute rant about Stormy Daniels, anti-SLAPP law and whether has finally done the RICO. But we decided you deserve better: an in-depth conversation on the subject we’ve been touching on for months: impeachment. How does it work under the United States Constitution? What conduct is impeachable? And what does ‘high crimes and misdemeanors’ actually mean? Gene Healy is a journalist, vice president of the Cato Institute, a libertarian think tank, and he’s published books on executive power. His newest book is on impeachment, and it’s called Indispensable Remedy: The Broad Scope of the Constitution’s Impeachment Power.
