Lawrence Grobel has written 22 books and perfected the art of the celebrity interview, but in his latest book, I Want You In My Movie!, Grobel experiences a first: his big screen debut. A day before Al Pacino was scheduled to start filming Salome, a film about the evolution of Oscar Wilde's notorious play, he asked Grobel to play a part.
What ensued was an adventure through the back alleys of Wilde's 19th century world and beyond. And of course, Grobel documented it all.
