Project Islamic HOPE has organized a vigil in South LA to commemorate the victims of the shooting at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut. The vigil is to sympathy and solidarity for the victims of the school shooting in Connecticut, said Najee Ali, Project HOPE’s head. “Our whole nation is in mourning and in shock,” he told KCRW’s Avishay Artsy

The vigil will begin at 5 p.m. in Leimert Park at 3415 W. 43rd Place
