Between the freeways, the construction sites, the bus stops and the buildings, Los Angeles is a wild place. You may have seen a coyote crossing the street at night, stopped mid-hike to back slowly away from a rattlesnake, fell in love with a rescue dog, or heard the flocks of wild parrots chattering in the trees above you. As part of SoundsLA, our ongoing series on what LA sounds like we’ve gotten stories of animal sounds from all over the city.
