Rachel Mason grew up in a very typical family: two parents, three kids, Sunday school, except for the fact that her parents owned two gay porn stores and, at one point, were perhaps the biggest producers and distributors of gay porn films in the country. Her new documentary, “Circus of Books," focuses on the closure of the stores in Silver Lake and West Hollywood and opens LA’s LGBTQ film festival, Outfest, this week.
