    It’s hard getting older, especially for LGBTQ retirees

    As you age, you have to worry about who’s going to take care of you, how much money you’ve saved, the possibility of losing your partner, and dealing with loneliness.

    As you age, you have to worry about who’s going to take care of you, how much money you’ve saved, the possibility of losing your partner, and dealing with loneliness. But gay and trans seniors have it even harder than straight seniors, according to a new piece in Forbes Magazine. And the number of gay retirees nationwide is expected to more than double by the year 2030.
