- A comprehensive spreadsheet of resources by location and aid type is available via Mutual Aid LA. If you have anything to add to their list, reach out by commenting on this Instagram post.

- Determine the extent of the damage to an address via LA County’s Damage Inspection Dashboard. Enter your address and the map will outline the extent of the structure’s damage and includes a photo of the site. Find the Eaton Fire map here and the Palisades Fire map here.

- Restaurants offering free meals to those impacted by LA wildfires (organized by region)
- Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Pantry Locator
- Instacart is waiving delivery fees on groceries and other essential items on orders of $10 or more in LA.
- CalFresh/LA County DPSS: If you’ve lost your job or are simply in need of assistance, you can apply for CalFresh and other benefits. Find out if you qualify for benefits by filling out this form and someone from the Food Bank team will contact you.
- Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Program
- Senior/Older Adults: For meals from LA County and the City of LA, call 1-800-510-2020
- This directory of brands providing free products to families displaced by the wildfires includes baby items, clothing, bedding, personal care products, and more.
- The National Council of Jewish Women, Los Angeles is offering $100 vouchers to The Council Shop stores for displaced individuals and families. Contact @NCJWLA at info@ncjwla.org to learn more.
- LA-based nursery furniture brand Babyletto is providing cribs to any families who have lost their homes or otherwise impacted by the fires. For more information, contact info@babyletto.com.

U-Haul is offering free self-storage and U-Box rentals at 92 locations.
Airbnb: Airbnb, in partnership with 211 LA, is offering free temporary housing for residents displaced or forced to evacuate due to the recent wildfires. Submit your information in this form to receive notifications on availability. Please note, spaces are limited, and completing the form does not guarantee a stay. Eligibility criteria apply.
YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles: Locations unaffected by fires are offering evacuation sites, temporary shelter, basic amenities, and showers. They are also offering free childcare for children of first responders, essential workers, and families displaced, evacuated, or otherwise impacted by the fires. Check locations and updates on their Community Response page.
Planet Fitness: The gym chain is opening its Southland locations to residents, first responders, and others impacted by the wildfires. Services include free access to locker rooms, showers, HydroMassage loungers, electrical outlets and Wi-Fi. No membership required. The offer runs through Jan. 15.
Big Bear is offering steeply discounted lodging for Los Angeles county evacuees.
The City of Santa Monica is offering discounted lodging rates and resources for first responders and Palisades Fire evacuees.
San Diego is offering special accommodation rates and offers for hotels across the region.
Transportation

LA Metro:
Fare collection for rides on Metro has been suspended systemwide until fires and severe weather no longer threaten Southern California.
Find resource centers that are accessible via LA Metro rail and bus stops and stations.

Follow LA Metro on X (formerly known as Twitter) for rider notifications as they happen.
Lyft: Riders in need can use the code CAFIRERELIEF25, valid for 2 rides up to $25 each ($50 total) for 500 riders from now until 1/15 at 11:59 p.m.
Uber: Use promo code WILFIRE25 in the wallet section of your Uber app to redeem a free Uber ride up to $40.
Insurance
California Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara has issued "a mandatory one-year moratorium on insurance non-renewals and cancellations" for ZIP codes in areas directly affected by the Eaton and Palisades fires. He has issued moratoriums in previous fires, including fires in September and November in Southern California. Search your ZIP code and fire name.

The California Department of Insurance has compiled Resources to Help Recent Wildfire Victims providing multilingual tips on preparing for an insurance claim.
Home and business loss: From documenting damage to understanding policy coverage, this comprehensive guide provides clear instructions and resources for starting the insurance process (via lifelong Pasadena resident Portia M. Wood, Esp. of Wood Legal Group).
Animals
Shelters and boarding:
- Evacuating with animals large or small? Head here for shelter options; be sure to check for capacity and availability.
- VCA Animal Hospitals are offering free boarding for evacuated animals.
Lost/missing pets:
- Petco Love Lost is a free online tool where those who have lost (or found!) pets can submit the animal’s photo and info to cross-reference with its database. Its “New Pet Match Alert” function will notify you when your pet (or its owner) has been found.
- Cleo&Hooman, a pet care and supply company, manages a mutual aid directory of lost and found pets in the LA area to help reunite animals with their owners. Message them at @CleoandHooman on Instagram to contribute. They are also accepting pet supply donations and monetary donations.
Supplies and veterinary care:
- Dr. Pedraza Reales of Sevilla Veterinary Hospital is offering treatment, medication, and food free of charge for fire victims.
- The Animal Legal Defense Fund is offering additional resources for those affected by the wildfires.
- Vester, a virtual vet platform, is offering free online appointments with licensed veterinarians for furry friends impacted by the wildfires, including addressing injuries, missing medications, or if you’re simply unable to reach your local clinic or provider. Mental Health
The Los Angeles County ACCESS Center offers 24/7 support for anxiety, distress, and grief via this hotline: (800) 854-7771.
The Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health Resources has compiled a list of mental health resources specifically to aid those affected by the wildfires, including parent guidelines for supporting children after a fire, tips for caregivers and teachers, support for coping, educational resources on the mental health impact of wildfires, and numerous helplines.

Headspace is has rounded up free guided meditations for anxiety, grief, crisis support, and more.
Integrative Psychotherapy Group (IPG) is offering free short-term mental health therapy for first responders and those experiencing crisis, trauma, or needing parenting support for their children.
Maple Counseling provides low-cost and sliding-scale mental health services to individuals, couples, and families of all ages and backgrounds throughout California. The Briskin | Wilder Welcome Center in Mid City “has a rapid intake process and provides case management for the most appropriate treatment for every client. No one is turned away.” Call (310) 271-9999 if you or someone you know needs support. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday; if you reach their voicemail, they will respond as soon as possible.
Financial assistance & community funds

Assistance for small businesses available through the federal Small Business Administration (SBA)
If you’ve lost your job due to the fires, apply for benefits through the State of California.
The Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) relief fund is supporting Black residents and small businesses. Added to donations section 1/13
MusiCares Foundation: Offering anyone who works in the music business for 3 years or longer immediate assistance. $1500 financial assistance and $500 food vouchers.
We Are Moving The Needle: Microgrants to support early and mid-career producers, engineers, and creators who have lost studio space or gear due to the wildfires.
Sweet Relief Musicians Fund: Financial relief towards the loss of equipment, medical bills from the resulting events, and living expenses.
The SAG-AFTRA Foundation is offering dues-paying union members whose homes have been destroyed a one-time Disaster Relief Fund grant.
The Entertainment Community Fund is helping those in the entertainment industry affected by The Southern California Wildfires. Emergency financial assistance is available for people who are unable to pay their immediate basic living expenses such as housing, food, utility bills or health care. Learn more and apply here.
Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation’s Pioneer Assistance Fund is providing emergency grants to entertainment industry workers in distribution and exhibition who have been displaced by the fires. The three-year minimum for employment eligibility is waived for natural disaster assistance.
Inclusive Action has launched the Open Air Worker Emergency Fund to assist outdoor workers like street vendors, landscapers, and recyclers impacted by the fires. Those affected can apply for a one-time cash assistance of $500 by Friday, Jan. 17 at 5 p.m. Acceda a la aplicación en español aquí.
