The re-emergence of measles has created a dilemma for pediatricians: what to do about parents who refuse to have their children vaccinated. Is it best to treat the unvaccinated kids, potentially putting other patients who visit their offices at risk? Or is it better to reject unvaccinated patients, though it means giving up the chance to support the child’s health and educate the parents?
