Americans are unwelcome in most countries. But they’re traveling to Mexico and spreading COVID there

About half a million Americans went to Mexico in October — one-third less than a typical year. But Mexico is the only country where Americans are still vacationing. It helps that tourism centers like Los Cabos don’t require COVID tests or quarantines for travellers. However, this led to a spike in cases in Baja during the summer and an outbreak on the Carribean side (in Tulum) last month.
