'American Factory:' Culture clash between American workers and Chinese factory owners

The US-China trade war is a reminder of how intertwined the two economies are: goods and services worth hundreds of billions of dollars go back and forth. Both countries have made big investments in the other.

In Ohio, after a GM plant closed, a Chinese company called Fuyao moved in. It makes glass for cars and trucks. The company also flew in Chinese people to work alongside Americans on the factory floor. That culture clash is the subject of a new Netflix documentary called “American Factory.”

It’s the first project from Barack and Michelle Obama’s production company called Higher Ground.
