Ten years ago, Dan Marshall lived a pretty carefree existence. He was in his mid-20s in Los Angeles; he had a fancy corporate job; he was in love; he partied and had fun. Then, everything changed. Dan’s father was diagnosed with ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease, and his mother’s cancer, which had been in remission, returned. So Dan put everything on hold and returned to his childhood home in Salt Lake City, Utah.
