A gunman killed 49 people and injured 53 early Sunday morning at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando. The victims include a college student, a UPS worker, and a bouncer who’d moved to Orlando to help her mother and grandmother. Pulse was a place of refuge for the LGBTQ community.
