Venice High School Arrests, Wikipedia’s Feminist Makeover and Chinatown

Hosted by

We start today with a look at the sexual assault allegations at Venice High School: A defense lawyer explains the legal issues at play, a teacher at the school describes concerns about the lax security system there, and a we hear from a woman who works with schools on preventing sexual assault. Then, New York City cops have been editing Wikipedia pages related to the department. Speaking of Wikipedia, “Press Play” producer Matt Holzman recently attended a Wikipedia editathon aimed at getting more women represented in the online encyclopedia. He tells the story, and also speaks to an artist about how her page was created. And finally, a look at how Chinatown is once again a hot L.A. food destination--just not for Chinese food.
