With Libra, Facebook wants to create its own money. Lawmakers are skeptical

The House and Senate are looking into Facebook’s plan to launch a currency called Libra. Neither side of the political aisle trusts Facebook, believing it's too big. Facebook has said it won’t launch Libra without regulatory approval, but the company has shown no sign of slowing down.
