For the first time, an accused terrorist charged with involvement in the attacks of September 11 has been convicted in US civilian court. Today, a jury in New York City — just blocks from the former World Trade Center — pronounced Sulaiman abu Ghaith guilty of conspiracy to kill Americans, providing material support to terrorists and conspiring to do so.
