President Bush in Europe for D-Day

As protesters gathered in the streets of Rome today, Pope John Paul reminded President Bush he-s opposed to the war in Iraq and disturbed by the treatment of Iraqi prisoners at Abu Ghraib. He accepted America-s Medal of Freedom and asked God to bless America. This weekend, the President will commemorate the D-Day invasion with leaders of Europe, including France and Germany who opposed his Iraq invasion. He-ll ask their help, in part by claiming a link between his "War on Terror- and World War II. Warren Olney speaks with military historians and experts in national security and international affairs from both sides of the Atlantic about whether that historical comparison holds and whether the Atlantic Alliance still has a role to play.
