Earlier this week President Obama said that if Congress won’t pass sweeping immigration reform, he’d start doing it himself. It wasn’t the first time that Obama has decided to go it alone. He’s taken executive action on a number of policies and issues, from gun control to climate change to the prisoner swap for Bowe Bergdahl. Republicans are fed up. They say Obama is acting like a “tyrant” and a “king.” And House Speaker John Boehner has come up with a plan: Sue the President. Does the Boehner camp have a leg to stand on? Is the speaker making an end-run around the far right’s call for impeachment proceedings?

Also, a suspect in the 2012 attack on the US consulate in Benghazi is set to remain in custody without bail. Plus, there’s a lot of plastic trash in the ocean, so why suddenly can’t scientists find it?
