U.S. Extends Embassy Closures

The State Department has extended a travel advisory and the closing of US embassies in predominantly Muslim countries for the rest of this week. McClatchy Newspapers reports that it’s the result of “intercepted communications” containing “clear orders” for attacks by Al Qaeda on the Arabian Peninsula.
