Can the Herpes Virus Kill Cancer?

Chemotherapy, radiation and other treatments for cancer often have side effects. Now the FDA has approved a promising new therapy — using modified viruses to kill cancer cells. Already approved by the FDA is a modified form of the herpes virus to combat skin cancer.

Already approved by the FDA is a modified form of the herpes virus to combat skin cancer.
