A Showdown in Berkeley

The Mayor of the City of Berkeley has apologized to the Marine Corps for the City Council’s letter saying a recruiting station is not welcome.  But six US Senators are already trying to cancel earmarks that fund organic lunches for Berkeley’s public schools. Tomorrow night, the Council will meet to consider rescinding its dis-invitation.
