Preparations for Jackson Memorial

City officials are expecting huge crowds downtown for tomorrow’s memorial for Michael Jackson at Staples Center. Some 1.6 million people applied for only 17,500 available tickets.  The Los Angeles Police Department is coordinating last-minute security operations around the area. Councilwoman Jan Perry represents the 9th District.
