When AT&T asked the world-famous director Werner Herzog to produce short films on the dangers of texting while driving , he agreed. The result was the 35-minute film, From One Second to the Next . One segment is about a 5-year old nicknamed X, hit and dragged 20 feet by a distracted driver, leaving him paralyzed on a ventilator.

The result was the 35-minute film, From One Second to the Next. One segment is about a 5-year old nicknamed X, hit and dragged 20 feet by a distracted driver, leaving him paralyzed on a ventilator. In less than a week, Herzog's film has been viewed more than one and a half million times on YouTube alone, as we hear from Steven Block, senior traffic researcher for the Automobile Club of Southern California.
