After months of secret meetings, Governor Schwarzenegger's California Performance Review came up with 2500 pages of cuts it said would save $32 billion in five years. Now, the California Performance Review Commission has examined those findings, but says that much of the work needs to be done over because it didn't address the state's real problems. Commission co-chair Bill Hauck, who is a veteran of Sacramento, has more on the fate of the Governor's plan to restructure government.
