Earth Day: Can good business be green?

Hosted by
This Saturday, no less than 500 million people in 184 countries are expected to participate in Earth Day number 30. But there's still no consensus on how to achieve a sustainable economy, in America or around the world. How much does industrial activity have to be curtailed? Or, will environmental protection turn out to be good business? Guests include one of the founders of the first Earth Day, Denis Hayes.
Also, the President of the Screen Actors Guild tells of gripes in the wage scale for commercial production. And UCLA Chancellor Albert Carnesale talks about a 50 million donation for a "Ronald Reagan" medical center.
