Fire Safety and Mobile Homes

People in mobile-home parks have complained for years they are second-class citizens unprotected by the same codes and regulations as other residents of California. After the loss of hundreds of mobile homes this week, officials from the Governor on down are promising to find out what needs to be done and what authority they have to do it.
