There's the Mayor's Race and then There's the City Council

Hosted by

Either Eric Garcetti or Wendy Greuel will be Mayor of Los Angeles on the first of July, and whoever it is will have to work with the City Council. Four of the 15 seats are still undecided, from South LA out to the San Fernando Valley. One race has turned Little Armenia into a battleground. We hear about them all. Also, for a change, almost everybody in Hollywood is working — sometimes at more than one job. We hear how Pilot Season is dictated by the Upfronts and $9 billion in advertising dollars.

Image-for-WWLA.jpgOn our rebroadcast of today's To the Point, sexual assaults in the US armed forces are increasing so fast that members of Congress are demanding change. We'll hear from a former Marine officer who was raped, a congresswoman who's calling for action--and from skeptics who warn against moving too fast.
