Culver Ice Arena May Get a Second Chance
The Culver Ice Arena is scheduled to close this weekend, to be replaced by Planet Granite , a rock climbing facility. Nobody denies that the ice rink is in disrepair and that saving it would be costly. But some 20,000 letters and petitions have been generated by a grass roots campaign, which has also crowded public meetings.
