Teachers Unions, Reformers Do Battle in State Superintendent's Race

Hosted by

It took 5000 local, state and federal firefighters to handle ten major blazes last week in Southern California — and that's just the beginning. We're not prepared for an unusually long, hot season — let alone for the consequences of climate change. Also, teachers and school reformers battle it out in a statewide election.

Will it enhance the host country or damage its reputation by revealing economic inequality and a misallocation of precious resources?
