The Veterans' Administration has six months to decide if part of its 387 acres in West LA should continue to house the UCLA Baseball stadium, sports facilities for a private school and a hotel laundry, or make way for America's largest contingent of homeless, often disabled veterans. Is it just a battle between the veterans and the VA? Are Brentwood Homeowners also involved? Also, UC Riverside is developing a transparent skull implant in hopes of providing a "window to the brain."

On our rebroadcast of today's To the Point, as President Obama heads for the G-20 in Russia, debate about his proposal to punish Syria continues on Capitol Hill. We hear about that and the common goals of Israel and Saudi Arabia as they work behind the scenes.
