Lieutenant Governor Backs Legalization of Marijuana

Hosted by

After days of uncertainty — and a conditional offer of resignation — Superintendent John Deasy got a "satisfactory" rating yesterday from LA's elected School Board. Despite sometimes heated differences with board members, he'll stay on until 2016. Can they really work together on budget issues, the "common core" curriculum, and disputes over teacher evaluations and Deasy's troubled effort to give every student an iPad? Also, California's Lieutenant Governor wants to legalize recreational marijuana.

Image-for-WWLA.jpgOn our rebroadcast of today's To the Point, Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius spent more than three hours before the House Energy and Commerce Committee today, taking the blame for the problems with Healthcare.gov and defending the Affordable Care Act. We hear excerpts and arguments about the issues being raised.
