Changes to California Minimum Wage and Wage Equality Laws

The fight for a fair wage continues in 2016, when the state will raise its minimum wage once again, to $10 an hour. But women in particular have cause to celebrate next year as California will now have one of the toughest equal pay laws in the country.

Sylvia Allegretto, an economist and co-director of the Center on Wage and Employment Dynamics at UC Berkeley, has more on the changes in the state's wage laws set to take effect January.
