Neel Kashkari, California’s Republican candidate for Governor, is a multi-millionaire. But polls show him way behind Democratic incumbent Jerry Brown. A new video features Kashkari in a new kind of campaign, as he spent an entire week living off of $40. Now, Kashkari wasn’t alone during his week-long search for employment; he was accompanied by a camera crew. John Wildermuth is political reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle.
