Brown Signs Bill Expediting Environmental Review of Farmers' Field

Governor Brown has signed a last-minute Senate bill to accelerate construction of AEG's Farmers' Field. It would be the largest construction project in the US, and AEG claims various environmental requirements would make it "carbon neutral." Senate Bill 292 was itself accelerated in the last few days of the legislative session.

Senate Bill 292 was itself accelerated in the last few days of the legislative session. Democrat Alex Padilla of Pacoima was the author.
