Synagogue Shooting Puts Jewish Community on High Alert
Two men were shot today as they arrived for a dawn prayer service at Adat Yeshurun Valley Sephardic synagogue in North Hollywood. Both are expected to survive and police are investigating a possible hate crime. The incident led the Los Angeles Police Department to implement a security plan developed after September 11, 2001.
