Can a New Internet Campaign Catch a Violent Serial Killer?

Michelle McNamara first became fascinated with serial killers when she was just fourteen. Now she's a crime blogger, by her own admission she has become obsessed with a California serial murderer whom she calls the Golden State Killer. He's believed to be responsible for sixty crimes, mostly murders, rapes or both.

Michelle McNamara first became fascinated with serial killers when she was just fourteen. Now she's a crime blogger, by her own admission she has become obsessed with a California serial murderer whom she calls the Golden State Killer. He's believed to be responsible for sixty crimes, mostly murders, rapes or both. He ended his crime spree apparently more than 25 years ago. McNamara, who blogs at TrueCrimeDiary.com tells her story in this month's Los Angeles magazine.
